![]() Click on any of the links below for additional information. ![]() The company is sorry I misunderstood? I'm sorry they are such a poor example of how a business is supposed to operate. There are plenty of frequently asked shredding questions, so we compiled a list of information to help answer your common questions. Anyone can read that and see that clearly nothing was communicated. We tell every caller how many quotes they can expect to get and also spell out the entire process on our website. ![]() Everybody loses when your fraudulently misrepresent Shred Nations.Desired SettlementRemove my personal information from their system and do not contact me further for any reason.Initial Response Sorry you misunderstood. All they?ve accomplished here was getting a ding against their ?supposedly? good name with the I?ll certainly never call them for anything ever again and will most certainly spread the word about how they do business and (after our really bad conversation) they?ve probably lost the vendor who was depending on them to represent themselves fairly and correctly to consumers in order to assist them with building their business. You should NEVER lie and/or mislead customers thinking you can ?trick? them into doing business with you. I want them to know that it is good business and a good business practice to always disclose who you are and what you offer to a customer so THEY can make the decision if they want to do business with you. Once I?d gotten three, I made a decision and that was that. But the misrepresentation and total lack of disclosure on Shred Nations part is why I?m making this complaint. I initially set out to contact three vendors for quotes. ![]() The problem with this (among other things) is had I known upfront that this is what they do, I would have never given out my personal informationas I don?t want my name and contact information ?blasted? out into the market willy-nilly for help with my project. They then send your information out to a bunch of vendors to contact you with quotes. Shred Nations must be some kind of Broker who has a fake website enticing consumers to contact them when shredding services is needed. After that bad call, I thought about it? THEN it occurred to me that Shred Nations failed to disclose to me who they REALLY were and why strange people were calling and emailing me. In the end, I was very rude to that female and hung up on her, because I didn?t understand why she was calling me. May I ask you what your quote was? I was completely confused and didn?t know what she was talking about, who she was, or why she was calling me. I thought it was following up to make sure someone had contacted me, then the female said, ?I don?t work for Shred Nation. About 30 minutes after that, I got a call from a female asking me if anyone had contacted me with a quote yet. Give me your name, telephone number, and email address and I?ll have someone call you back.? So I gave her all my information expecting someone with ?her? company to called me back with the requested information.Within the hour, I got an email from a female named with a shredding company called A She was really nice and emailed me a quote promptly. She said, ?I can?t give you a quote right now. The female that answered the phone said her name was I asked her for a price quote for a 300 to 500Ib shredding job and asked her how much it would cost. Hello,My complaint with this business is the lack of disclosure and misrepresentation.I called this company on Tuesday, Februto get a price quote for an upcoming shredding project.
